My name is Randall W. Osborn, a finish carpenter with three children, Melody, Karen and Pollyana. How I met Ron Wyatt? Is an amazing story, so let me start at the beginning. It was the year 1988, in June and I first met Ron Wyatt in Israel, after he paid my way there before he ever met me. Yes, that is right, he paid my way to Israel before He ever met me! You see, this story goes back to 1988 while I was working in Wisconsin selling christian books. I was married at the time, but during this year I was going through a hard divorce.
After the divorce and many tears, I felt I had to leave. Since I could not find anymore work in that area, I moved back to Florida near my father. During the whole trip I cried all the way down to Florida asking God: why God, why? There was much I just did not understand. Was I in the wrong? yes! have I sinned? Yes! Have I asked others and God to forgive me? Yes, I have. I believe that is sometimes, all we can do.
So here I was, my first weekend down in Florida going to a new Church. My spirits were down, very down, but during the bible study the teacher started talking about a program he had been to, just the week before where the man was showing pictures of Noah’s ark and other biblical things. This caught my interest greatly! After meeting this person (Bob Murrell) and having him show me these things, I expressed a big desire to help with the work. He told me he would talk with Ron Wyatt about me and said if I could come up with $2400.00 for the next trip in a few months, maybe I could go help them.
Well I did everything I could to try to come up with the money but all I had when the time came was almost nothing and I remember being so sad. I kneeled down that night and prayed to God saying: God there is just nothing I can do to come up with this money, to go on the trip. Lord if I’m to go it will have to be a miracle. To be honest I just didn’t believe it would happen. I went to bed sad that night but some time had passed and all I remember is the phone waking me up and when I answered it, it was Mary Nell, Ron’s wife at the time. She said: Randy are you ready to go? Well, I sadly said Mary Nell there is just no way I can go on this trip, all I could get together was just $300. So there was just know way I could go. She said to me: Randy just get your passport and get on the plain and we will take care of the rest! Well let me tell you I wondered if I was dreaming all this, but after realizing this was for real I could hardly believe it my self.
When I went to Israel we would always stay at the Jerusalem Hotel for it was cheep not a 4 star hotel, but it was close to where we wanted to go.
Did I work? Yes, I worked as hard and as long as I could. Was I motivated? Yes, very much so. I felt as though I was doing God’s bidding, His work, and this excited me very much.
The Ark of the Covenant was the first dig I went on with Ron, and that was April 19, 1989.
Here I am 10ft. down in a shaft Ron had asked me and other helpers to dig.
Now what was the purpose of this shaft?
Only God knows. But our work was halted when the last time we were there we had an uninvited doctor show up at our hotel as we were coming back to start work again on this site. We were visited by Jesus at this time and as Ron talked with Him, Jesus greatly encouraged Ron because he was very distraught with the uninvited doctor whom he knew he could not trust with God’s things because he didn’t contact Ron and ask to go along.
Now I must tell the rest of the story that I have not told anyone until now! I believe God sent that doctor to be a blessing for me! Yes, that Doctor helped Me greatly, How, well, here is my story, on this trip to Israel I was able to go only because I had been in an accident with my truck months earlier and I received the money to fix my damaged truck just before it was time to go on this trip, and it was just the right amount to be able to go on the trip so I chose to go on the trip, instead of fixing my truck. Also work was scarce at this time and so was money. So I was going on a wing and a prayer as some say. Was I praying for God’s will? Yes, but how was I going to pay the bills I needed to pay just to survive once I got back to the states? I didn’t know. I told no one my situation but God, believing God would help me some how and sure enough this doctor was impressed to challenge Ron by saying he would give me $500 dollars for all my hard work If Ron would do the same and Ron agreed and this money they gave me was just, I mean just, the amount I needed to pay the bills I had to pay when I returned to the U.S.A. NOW YOU KNOW THE REST OF THE STORY though this doctor did not ask Ron to come never the less, God used him to be a big blessing to me! And I owe him a thank you for his part on that trip! Thank you Sir!!
Working for God! You can see I was working, was I blessed for it! That’s the part I want to share with you. Many ask does it pay, or is it worth it to give ones life to Jesus 100% to work for God, many may say it’s just not worth it. The only benefit many say is when we die and get to heaven. I strongly disagree, and my life is a living proof to God’s many, I mean many benefits that I have received! I will only touch on a few here, over the years when I worked for myself as a carpenter I only just got by financially but God still took care of me, I didn’t go hungry. But the times I would commit to God and work for him I was building my treasure in heaven to be given back to me.
When? Only in heaven? NO! you see God blesses us here. A series of miracles have happened to me that I know has happened only because of my commitment to my heavenly Father. Now these blessings did not happen in the early part of my life but here down in my latter years. I can see God richly blessing me now. God is a God of providence and He providentially works out our lives and blesses us if we have in our past kept a commitment to Him. So He can legally do this! First I am now 60 years old but my health is still wonderful, I have no aches or pains and I am able to work as I did when I was 20 and as for my estate I now have a 3 story home in a city but more importantly a 449 acre farm in the country. With animals and 3 orchards it’s a little bit of heaven on earth. And I now have a most wonderful wife that has blessed me tremendously. God is continually blessing us in different ways! I have learned how to communicate with God in a most wonderful manor so that I might know His will for us. When we search for him with all our heart we will find him.! Have I been blessed? You can say with me, yes! But will I be blessed even more in the future? Most definitely yes, as I keep this Commitment I have to Him and do all I can to share his methods of blessings with others. Draw close to him and He will draw close to you is his His promise! God Bless
So what was Ron like anyway? Let me say this -- Ron had a very big heart, he was very kind and loving. "Just how," you might ask? Let me share just two of my many stories that should help explain what I mean.
Back in 1990, my stepdaughter was getting married and she wanted me to give her away, but at the time I had been there in Tennessee working with Ron building our Museum and my daughter was out in the state of Washington. I shared this with Ron and what did he do? He bought an airline ticket for me and rented a tuxedo for me, then sent me there with his blessings. That’s Ron.
And again, we were in a car riding on a back road way out in Israel, and we just happened by a place we could get something to eat. So we stopped and went in, the food looked like death wormed over to me, but we were all hungry and proceeded to get something to eat. After we finished, Ron asked how much we owed, and the man said "20 shekels" and Ron said in a loud voice "20 shekels?" and waited a few minutes as the tension grew stronger, and then said, "It should have been more than that, here’s $50." And later back in the car Ron said this road was a common road that the tourist busses used to travel on until they built a different road and now this guy’s business was almost dead. That was Ron.
Ron was the best tour guide one could have since he knew the back roads through out Israel, and when we were not working he would take us and show us places all over the country. Ron had a sense of humor, he would joke a lot, and one just felt so comfortable around him, he was also a very smart person. He would have been a doctor if circumstances in his life would have been more favorable.
Now when I started working with Ron in the tunnel system there in Israel there were many others helping with this digging. Ron had discovered the cut-outs in the cliff face, and had found the natural water jacket that goes through out the mountain and had broken out of the mountain into the area where Jesus was crucified. Now Ron’s agenda was to find another way into the chamber of the Ark Of the Covenant, but what was God’s agenda? I believe God’s agenda for Ron was just to let him find His crucifixion site, and His blood, and that is as far as our digging went.
Yes we dug a shaft 10 feet down into the mountain [through solid rock], but for what? Could it be just so Ron would be able to take the time to research near where he was sitting and contemplate what took place here? Also to find the last bit of evidence that God wanted him to find there in that tunnel, the Blood of Jesus !! Yes, I think so, was it worth all that work? Yes, I think so. Has it encouraged anyone’s heart? Yes, at least it has encouraged mine.
Now did God show Ron another way into the chamber? Yes, I think so. A way that was without effort, a way that was preserved by God Himself. Yes, I think so.
What of all those things he discovered now that he is gone? Did that negate his discoveries? NO, they are still out there for anyone to go and see for themselves, that is except for the Ark of the Covenant. God is holding back this portrait for another day. Maybe He is waiting for a people, a special people that are living up to all the light they have, to go before God and His Angel that guards the entrance with prayers and fasting, to ask in faith to come before their God and ask for God’s glory to be revealed, and the light of His law to shine forth to all the world!
Now this that I am pointing at is what I call a finger of testament. If you look very close you can see a protruding petrified rib timber, but at a stage of decomposing. It is so fragil, one could dig it right apart, but there it is, still standing perfectly in line with the rest of the other rib timbers as a standing testament to God´s sure word of prophecy. It is at the port side, back end of Noah´s Ark
This anchor stone was one of the first things Ron discovered on his first trip out to this area. I highlited the boat shapes on the anchor stone. The picture can be seen with water.
The person to the right was a guide Ron had used in the past.
THOMAS
When Jesus first met the disciples in the upper chamber, Thomas was not with them. He heard the reports of the others, and received abundant proof that Jesus had risen;
What of this abundant proof? What were the facts? an empty tomb, the disciples testimony of seeing Him, and Bible scriptures testifying to this very event.
But gloom and unbelief filled his heart. Why? because we have two choices: unbelief or belief which is faith.
As he heard the disciples tell of the wonderful manifestations of the risen Saviour, it only plunged him in deeper despair. Why, unbelief always brings despair.
1st. reason: If Jesus had really risen from the dead, there could be no further hope of a literal earthly kingdom. Thomas hoped for and held a pre-conceived idea of an earthly kingdom being set up.
2nd.reason: And it wounded his vanity to think that his Master should reveal Himself to all the disciples except him.
He was determined not to believe, and for a whole week he brooded over his wretchedness, which seemed all the darker in contrast with the hope and faith of his brethren. {DA 806.4}
During this time he repeatedly declared, "Except I shall see in His hands the print of the nails, and put my finger into the print of the nails, and thrust my hand into His side, I will not believe." He would not see through the eyes of his brethren, or exercise faith which was dependent upon their testimony. He ardently loved his Lord, but he had allowed jealousy and unbelief to take possession of his mind and heart. {DA 807.1}
Have you my friend done this with these discoveries? Jealousy and unbelief can destroy us, even if we have an ardent love for Jesus.
A number of the disciples now made the familiar upper chamber their temporary home, and at evening all except Thomas gathered here. One evening Thomas determined to meet with the others. Notwithstanding his unbelief, he had a faint hope that the good news was true. While the disciples were taking their evening meal, they talked of the evidences which Christ had given them in the prophecies. "Then came Jesus, the doors being shut, and stood in the midst, and said, Peace be unto you." {DA 807.2}
If you have a faint hope that these discoveries are real stay close buy, re-evaluate these discoveries through the eyes of faith and prayer.
Turning to Thomas He said, "Reach hither thy finger, and behold My hands; and reach hither thy hand, and thrust it into My side: and be not faithless, but believing
Jesus accepted his acknowledgment, but gently reproved his unbelief: "Thomas, because thou hast seen Me, thou hast believed: blessed are they that have not seen, and yet have believed." The faith of Thomas would have been more pleasing to Christ if he had been willing to believe upon the testimony of his brethren. Should the world now follow the example of Thomas, no one would believe unto salvation; for all who receive Christ must do so through the testimony of others. {DA 807.4}
Many who are given to doubt excuse themselves by saying that if they had the evidence which Thomas had from his companions, they would believe. They do not realize that they have not only that evidence, but much more. Many who, like Thomas, wait for all cause of doubt to be removed, will never realize their desire. They gradually become confirmed in unbelief. Those who educate themselves to look on the dark side, and murmur and complain, know not what they do. They are sowing the seeds of doubt, and they will have a harvest of doubt to reap. At a time when faith and confidence are most essential, many will thus find themselves powerless to hope and believe. {DA 807.5}So what of Ron Wyatt’s discoveries remember? The process of deduction is what constitutes a proof; in other words, a judgment is evident if one has a proof for it. The proof is there for most all the discoveries. Weather we accept these discoveries or reject them should always be based on the evidences or proofs and not on our preconceived ideas
