September 17th 2010 Started trip to Doomsday Mountain, Eastern Turkey. Question 1: is there any legends in the area of Eastern Turkey of a global flood? We first flew to Istanbul and there found the thriving carpet industry, and happened to see a shop that sold carpets from the Van lake area with Animals and a boat on them, pointing to a great flood!

Jesus gave us a sign, Woo! what sign you say!
the connection between Noah`s end of the world time and our End of the world time, when Jesus comes back, was the sign!

Because knowing and believing in Noah and the Ark`s catastrophe would help us some how down here near the end of time.
HOW can this help us! only if we know for sure, or better yet, have evidence that this story was for real! So having this evidence can give you, or help you to have a stronger faith! remember your faith must rest upon evidence!

Now please understand the Turkish Government, will not take any position for or against any site that conflicts with another site they are currently making money with. That includes Mount Agri, where a multitude of climbers from all over the world go climbing, searching for Noah’s Ark. Moreover, here I would like you, the reader, to reason with me for just a minute.
Society is now looking closely at two possible sites for the real Noah’s Ark. You, the people of the world, decide which of the two sites is the more likely candidate!

I will agree that according to NASA´s site and their statement, it will take an imagination to accept this site as anything but a rock pile on a mountain. But if you like climbing you certainly will not want to accept Ron Wyatt’s site since it is just to easy of a climb to this place, you decide!

Imagine seeing the most talked about the most revered story in Christian literature, the oldest Boat in History, right up close to even walk on it or pick up the dust of its very existence. Yes, I can tell you it was all this and more. Maybe if you had had the chance to go just once to see this piece of history you would have fantastic memories to contemplate for the rest of your life. THE FLOOD
We have all heard this story from when we were kids but was it just a story or fact?
"And God said unto Noah, The end of all flesh is come before me; for the earth is filled with violence through them; and, behold, I will destroy them with the earth. Make thee an ark of gopher wood; rooms shalt thou make in the ark, and shalt pitch it within and without with pitch. And this is the fashion which thou shalt make it of: The length of the ark shall be three hundred cubits, the breadth of it fifty cubits, and the height of it thirty cubits. A window shalt thou make to the ark, and in a cubit shalt thou finish it above; and the door of the ark shalt thou set in the side thereof; with lower, second, and third stories shalt thou make it." Genesis 6:13-16

But God remembered Noah and all the beasts and all the cattle that were with him in the ark. NOAH’S VOYAGE SEEN FROM A SAILORS PERSPECTIVE
I enlisted into the United States Navy after graduating from high school back in 1968 and I ended up aboard the USS Newport News CA148 a Heavy cruiser.
Just as I came on board after boot camp, this ship headed for Vietnam. Now before this I had no previous time aboard any ship or even any boat for that matter. That first week was one I will not forget.

 | I can imagine what it was like for Noah and his family in their first week after the storm broke and started tossing that ship around. For the first week aboard my ship, I was so sea sick that all I could do was stay in the bathroom hugging the latrine and throwing up hour after hour after hour, until there was just nothing left to throw up and then I started the dry heaves hour after hour after hour. However, I can say after that episode I never ever became sea sick again. |
Now I was a signalman aboard this ship that meant that I was one of the ships lookouts which meant our companies job was to watch for other ships and communicate with them through flashing lights which was accomplished with the Morse code (dotes and dashes). In addition, we could communicate using signal flags, but I am sure Noah did not use any such things since his was the only ship upon this vast ocean of water. Now being a lookout on my watch as the hours ticked by I would often contemplate my life wondering just what the future held for me. Life seamed to go so slowly back then on that ship. Would I ever get married and have a family?

Life then was lonely and I was not a happy camper at this time. Yes, I can imagine just a little what Noah was going through except his experience was a lot worse, I am sure. We were all just living for the day we would reach port it did not matter what port just that we were back on land again. I am sure Noah and his family were inexpressibly happy to be back on dry ground after a whole year of being tossed and turned. The longest times I think I ever stayed out to sea was 2 long months, and believe me it was as though time dragged on and on it seamed like forever. Now the Newport News was one of the first ships ever to be equipped with air conditioning what was it like on Noah’s ship? Especially living and working around all those animals only one can imagine, I am sure not to pleasant.

How did Noah keep his sanity all that time? Could it be His was a life of faith? Yes he lived day by day in a life of simple faith and trust in God his father and friend, just as we must do down here just before the end of all things when Jesus who has promised to return does return for his people.
"The waters rose fifteen cubits above the highest mountains. It often seemed to the family within the ark that they must perish, as for five long months their boat was tossed about, apparently at the mercy of wind and wave. It was a trying ordeal; but Noah's faith did not waver, for he had the assurance that the divine hand was upon the helm. As the waters began to subside, the Lord caused the ark to drift into a spot protected by a group of mountains that had been preserved by His power. These mountains were but a little distance apart, and the ark moved about in this quiet haven, and was no longer driven upon the boundless ocean.
